Let God, and Let Go

Accepting the things we cannot change is a lesson in strength and humility. Its a realization and a submission to the truth that we are not the master of our life and we cannot control the future.

We all have choices to make when we’re faced with circumstances we can’t fix or change…fear or faith… strength or weakness…love or hate…forgiveness or bitterness

Proverbs 3:5-8 reminds us to
Trust in the Lord with all our heart,
and do not rely on our own insight.
In all our ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight our paths…Do not be wise in our own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil…It will be a healing for your flesh and a refreshment for your body.

We can live at peace and in the state of “well being” when we accept that there will be years like we just experienced…there will be troubles and tests and trauma…there will be wildfires and hurricanes and windstorms…there will be circumstances that seem unbearable and situations that are emotionally and relationally painful.

BUT in the midst of it all…GOD IS and HE IS “in control”. He IS turning “every” situation the devil meant for evil…for GOOD for those who love Him and are called according to his purpose. He IS “large and in charge” and will have his way…He’s on the throne…we are never alone.

When WE will believe that… WE “by faith” can receive that..and then WE “can be changed” by that truth…no matter the situation or circumstance we’re dealing with.

Today let’s let go and let God! He has a permanent fix for every temporary situation. As we continue to “walk in love” and exercise grace towards one another…we will live in the constant blessing of our Heavenly Father.
